Body Fat Calculator Form
How It Works
The U.S. Navy formula estimates body fat based on circumference measurements:
- Men: Neck, Waist, Height
- Women: Neck, Waist, Hip, Height
* Always measure in centimeters (cm). For best results, take measurements in the morning before eating or exercise.
Example
Male - Age: 30, Height: 175 cm, Neck: 40 cm, Waist: 90 cm
Estimated Body Fat ≈ 20.6%
Female - Age: 28, Height: 165 cm, Neck: 34 cm, Waist: 75 cm, Hip: 95 cm
Estimated Body Fat ≈ 26.4%
What Does It Mean?
- 10–20% = Lean/Fit (men)
- 20–30% = Healthy (women)
- 30%+ = High body fat / consider weight loss
* Imperial values (inches) are automatically converted to cm for internal calculation.
